Kirk Behrendt is a practice performance coach, international speaker and author. Kirk has invested his entire professional life studying the elite practices in dentistry and the leadership that guides them. As the founder of ACT, his vision is driven by the commitment to provide highly personalized care to the dental profession. By creating a talented team of experts, Kirk and his team continue to positively impact the practice of dentistry one practice at a time.
His personal mission is to use up every ounce of his potential. Kirk lectures all over the world to help individuals take control of their own lives. Dentistry Today recently recognized Kirk as one of the Leaders in Dental Consulting in 2011. Dr. Peter Dawson called him “THE best motivator I have ever heard.”
Kirk has competed internationally in 4 Ironman Triathlons and 9 Half-Iron Triathlons. He currently trains with some of the best triathletes competing in the world today. His feeling is that there is no greater parallel to optimal business performance than optimal athletic performance.

Dr.Michael C. Fling

Michael C. Fling, D.D.S., began his career in dentistry in 1976 as a laboratory technician. Graduating from Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 1984, he received the “Young Dentist of the Year Award” in 1988 from the Oklahoma Dental Association. Maintaining a private practice with an emphasis on restorative dentistry, he has served as Course Director and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at the O.U. College of Dentistry.
He is the founder and President of Fling Seminars, providing advanced dental education to dentists, dental teams and technicians throughout the country. Currently he serves as a guest lecturer at O.U. College of Dentistry in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and as a Visiting Faculty member at The Pankey Institute.
Dr. Fling is also on staff with the St. Anthony’s Hospital General Residency Program and with the Advance Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residents at the O.U. College of Dentistry, lecturing on restorative concepts and technical excellence. He recently completed the process to be awarded the title of “Pankey Scholar.” As a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and the American College of Dentists, he has lectured throughout the country to dental and laboratory associations and to various study groups on fundamental principles of restorative dentistry and achieving technical excellence.

As CEO of Red Earth Systems, Jay Wade not only keeps the business running, but also brings over 25 years of industry experience to the company. Upon graduation from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Mr. Wade co-founded Wade Systems in 1988 as a value-added-reseller of computer hardware, software and services.
In 1992, Wade Systems was repositioned as a software development company specializing in software for the Federal Court System, where Jay designed and developed the various software programs for the Electronic Case Manager (ECM) line of software.
In April 1999, Wade Systems was acquired by Innovative Capital, LLC., and Jay moved on to pursue other interests, subsequently co-founding several other technology-related businesses, including Red Earth.
Jay is the Vice Chairman of the International SeaKeepers Society as well as a submarine pilot. In his time away from the office, he enjoys amateur motorcycle racing, SCUBA diving, and being an active Member of Explorer's Club.

Tyler Fling is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. He graduated there with a degree in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. He has been involved with EZ Stats since its inception. Thus, he is an expert in the use of this awesome tool. He provides technical expertise and consultation for EZ Stats users.
Lead Practice Coach
Sheri Kay brings passion and joyful energy to her work every day. She is dedicated to building a strong sense of community within each dental practice and takes pride in having the ability to help each person maximize their contribution to the team. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her dedication to the success of others is remarkable. Having worked for many years as a hygienist and a practice facilitator, Sheri lives and breathes the philosophy of integrating healthy relationships with exquisite restorative dentistry.
Her mission is to partner with other practices that also desire a high level of effectiveness within their teams. "Becoming a Practice Coach with ACT gives me an opportunity to be a part of a great team," Sheri says. "I love being able to primarily focus on excellence, raising the bar on what is possible in dentistry." Sheri earned her Bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University.
She is proud to hold certificates in International Coaching and Organizational Development from the internationally-renowned Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. She also enjoys teaching in the dental hygiene program at Lorain County Community College in Ohio.

Debra Hewitt is a small business educator, professional speaker and an experienced business trainer in the field of dental management. She has worked with one of the most prestigious business schools for dentists in the world and has personally coached over 400 practices across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Debra has been part of the dental industry since 1982 which includes over thirteen years of clinical and administrative experience prior to 1994 when she entered into the role of a small business educator.
ACT Dental Practice Management is dedicated to providing dentists and their teams with comprehensive management training. Robyn Reis brings an enthusiastic attitude, boundless energy and professional commitment to helping ACT clients achieve extraordinary results. She credits two amazing dentists for igniting her passion in dentistry over 13 years ago. Since then, Robyn’s experience as a marketing director, practice administrator, dental laboratory salesperson and continuing education director has only enhanced her love and appreciation for what the dental profession can do for others.
She considers herself a student as well as a teacher, and sees each day as a new opportunity to learn. Robyn has a natural ability to connect with people on all levels through her sense of humor, outgoing personality and her genuine desire to help. When not talking dentistry, Robyn enjoys quality time with her family, reading on her Nook, relaxing with friends and getting the most out of life.
